Another programme M.E (post graduation) in this stream would help a candidate fetch a job in such maintenance sector. Many companies also prefer diploma holders in mechanical engineering as these professionals have practical knowledge when compared to candidates from B.E, B.Tech background.

Presently the market offers wide range of jobs dispersed in various inter-disciplinary streams. New jobs in this sector are available as a result globalisation and industrialisation.
